October 19, 2013 - RLHA Silver Comet Project Manager, Brian Bober, and renowned Toastmasters speaker, Marty Mercer, make a "Connect The Comet" presentation at the Georgia Bike Summit in Roswell, GA.
 
July 23, 2013 - Cobb County Commissioner Bob Ott meets with Ed McBrayer of PATH Foundation and "Connect The Comet" representatives.
 
June 10, 2013 - Georgia Senator Hunter Hill and Representative Sheila Jones meet with
Ed McBrayer of PATH Foundation and "Connect The Comet" representatives. 
 
May 29, 2013 - "Connect The Comet" advocacy group meets and organizes. 
 
April 13, 2013 - A group of 20 interested citizens walked the 3 miles of remaining abandoned Silver Comet railroad track from  the walking trail juncture at the East-West Connector toward the Chattahoochee River. The River Line Historic Area Board Member, Larry Johnson, led the group and wrote "Beltline to 'Bama", including a Cobb transportation plan link and event photos.  Click here for the April 19 Atlanta Journal news clip.
